We collect your information when you fill in forms on our website; register for or attend our sessions, events, or workshops; contact us by email, WhatsApp, phone, or social media; take part in surveys, consultations, or feedback forms; or are referred to us by a trusted partner organisation, with consent.
We use your information to communicate with you about sessions, events, and opportunities; to administer and deliver our services; to evaluate and improve our support programmes; to meet our legal obligations, including safeguarding responsibilities; and to report to funders and partners, always anonymised unless otherwise agreed.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information with any third parties.
We process your data under the following lawful bases: consent, when you voluntarily provide your information for services; contract, to deliver services you have requested; legal obligation, for example safeguarding concerns; and legitimate interests, to improve our services and operate effectively.
Where we process Special Category Data, such as health information, we will always seek your explicit consent or rely on a substantial public interest such as safeguarding.
We use secure, password-protected systems. Access to personal data is limited to authorised staff and volunteers only, and sensitive information is encrypted where appropriate. In all cases, we ensure that your information is protected and only shared responsibly.
Under the UK GDPR, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of incorrect or incomplete data; request erasure of your personal data, the right to be forgotten; object to processing or request restriction of processing; withdraw consent at any time; and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you feel we have mishandled your data.
